Patrick Dokpesi is an articulate professional with an excellent track record as a lawyer. He worked previously with the Central Bank of Nigeria and served in several departments of the apex bank, including Banking Supervision Department, Branch Operations Department, Legal Adviser and Head, Administration in Medical Services Department. Gradually, he rose through the ranks to the position of a director and, after years of meritorious service, he retired from the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2016.
Patrick is a well-rounded lawyer with a wealth of experience in the public sector and private legal practice. He specialises in Corporate Governance and Compliance, Banking and Finance, Real Estate, Debt Recovery and Insolvency, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution.

He has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business Administration, with honours, from the University of Lagos, in 1979; a Master of Science (MSc) in Banking and Finance, from the University of Benin, in 1989; and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), with honours, from the University of Benin, in 2008. Last but not least, he was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
